Mike is running for the 2-year partial-term seat. As a lifelong resident, prior elected school board member, and alumni of Walled Lake Schools he brings a unique perspective to the board. He resides in White Lake Township with his wife and two children (currently students at Dublin and Clifford Smart) and is an active volunteer in the Lakes area. He has dedicated his life to public service over the past two decades and has felt motivated to serve the community once again.
This district is on the precipice of many changes, which can be challenging, and he wants to use his voice to help navigate that journey. He aspires to be a champion of education and achievement by empowering and supporting our students, teachers, staff, and administration through opportunities for growth and long-term success in life.
He aims to infuse sensible leadership, integrity, equity, and stability into the Board. His ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and his fellow slate, district partners, and fellow residents will help create a smooth transition and cultivate meaningful opportunities for all students and educators of this District.
